My 2nd Sewing Attempt

I'm participating in my first swap and thought i'd give a bit of an update on what i'm making. Yes, I'M making it ;) I am so excited and can't wait till it is all finished, but right now i've just managed to piece together the fabrics and overlock them together. Next will be sideseams, but unfortunately I ran out of time this afternoon.

So this is the start....


It is a 'Fat Quarter Skirt' that I found whilst checking out different blogs and eventually landing on this one that i'm LOVING 'Confessions of a Sewing Dork' (don't you love the name? hehe) This is the instructions for the skirt.

I'm doing other things with the skirt, but shall reveal them when they get started ;) I'm like a kid with a new toy LOL

Fantastic! I feel like digging out my own machine (not that I'd have to dig far as its in its own cupboard hahaha) and start sewing again.

Can't wait to see the finished project *yay*
